I personally do not like using foundation. (I can never get the right color) I have used Chanel and Laura Mercier and I liked them both - but ended up too much of a hassle for me to evenly put it on. I think you should go to the counter and get them to apply it so that you can see how you like it and how it feels on your skin. Only you will know when you have achieved the look you want. And there are so many products out there. They might even give you a sample of all of them.
